Job summary

B&Q Limited in Peterborough is hiring a Shift Lead to oversee daily store operations, ensure a safe and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues, and lead the shift team to deliver great service.

The role is full-time (36.75 hours across 5 shifts) with a permanent contract. Shift pattern includes early starts (as early as 5am) and late finishes (up to 10pm) Monday to Sunday, with a competitive salary of £27,709.50 per annum plus pension and generous holiday.

Responsibilities

• Be the heartbeat of the store day-to-day and ensure operations are running smoothly.
• Make sure colleagues are deployed correctly to ‘make every customer count’ throughout your shift.
• Be the first point of contact for customers and colleagues.
• Make sure our stores are safe at all times.
