Job summary

B&Q Kings Lynn is hiring a Shift Lead to oversee a shift, ensuring a safe, welcoming and efficient store environment for colleagues and customers. You’ll lead operations, deploy colleagues to maximise service and be the first point of contact for customers during your shift, while upholding safety standards.

We offer a permanent contract with a full-time equivalent of 36.75 hours per week, and a salary package including a pension and generous holiday allowance.

Qualifications

• Shift Lead role requiring leadership and responsibility over a shift.
• Focus on safety, customer service and store operations.
• Ability to deploy colleagues and maintain great customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Be the heartbeat of the store day-to-day and ensure operations are running smoothly.
• Make sure colleagues are deployed correctly to ‘make every customer count’ throughout your shift.
• Be the first point of contact for customers and colleagues.
• Make sure our stores are safe at all times.
