Job summary

Sainsbury's in Dundee is seeking a Customer & Trading Manager to lead a busy store and drive excellent customer service. You will manage day-to-day operations, coach colleagues, and ensure smooth, safe service for shoppers across all shifts.

The role focuses on hands-on leadership, KPI delivery and operational excellence, with opportunity to support other stores in the network when required. A strong track record in retail management is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Demonstrated ability to meet KPIs and drive sales.
• Excellent customer service and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a small team of managers to ensure the store runs like clockwork daily.
• Take responsibility for day-to-day store operations and be the accountable manager in the shop.
• Lead a team to serve customers efficiently and safely.
• Manage performance, capability, disciplinaries, and scheduling/pay accuracy.
• Occasionally support another store in nearby networks when needed.
