Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking a Customer & Trading Manager to lead a store team, run day-to-day operations, and deliver exceptional service to customers.

Qualifications

• Track record of delivering brilliant customer service and coaching colleagues to do the same.
• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment with motivates others and ensures operations run smoothly.
• Ability to manage performance issues or disciplinary matters and uphold policies.
• Experience achieving KPIs across sales, availability, customer satisfaction or colleague engagement.

Responsibilities

• Work with a small team of managers to ensure the store runs like clockwork daily.
• Take responsibility for day-to-day store operations and be the accountable manager in shifts.
• Collaborate with a team to serve customers efficiently and safely.
• Manage performance, discipline where needed, and ensure scheduling and payroll accuracy.
• Occasionally support other stores within the network as required.
