Job summary

Sainsbury's in Bolton is seeking a Customer Experience Manager to own the end-to-end store experience, from checkout to back of house, ensuring we deliver on our customer commitments.

You’ll manage the front-end checkout and, where available, petrol station operations, guiding teams to uphold service standards and drive performance. You will coach colleagues, handle performance, scheduling and payroll, and may take overall responsibility in the absence of senior management.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Experience coaching others to raise service standards.
• Ability to drive KPIs across a high-volume store.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the overall customer experience across the store from the checkout to back of house.
• Manage the front-end checkout operation.
• Oversee petrol station operations where applicable.
• Lead performance and capability, conduct disciplinaries and manage scheduling and pay.
• In absence of senior management, take overall responsibility for running the store and guiding colleagues.
