Job summary

Tapi Carpets & Floors in Leeds is seeking a proactive store operations assistant who thrives on delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will be essential to the running of the store and its daily duties, ensuring customers feel valued and supported.

You’ll handle administrative tasks, greet customers, manage orders, liaise with suppliers and keep diaries for home consultants and fitters. Training is provided and a range of benefits is offered.

Responsibilities

• Controlling all administrative activities across the store.
• Work with the team to wow customers at every turn.
• Help store colleagues greet customers as they enter the store.
• Provide top notch customer service for order completions and post-sales questions.
• L liaise with suppliers, fitters and estimators to keep orders on track.
• Oversee the diaries of Home Consultants, Estimators and Fitting partners.
• Maintain control of company cash and daily banking.
• Update customers on order progress with Tapi charm.
• Undertake stock takes and audits weekly.
• Seek ways to improve store and customer service.
