Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a Stores Operative to join our Fareham site, performing goods inwards, stock control and order picking within our stores facility. You will ensure accurate packing, labeling and safe stock handling, while maintaining wardrobe-like stock rotation and efficient yard management.

You will work with ERP systems, operate forklifts where required, and support the Materials Supervisor in daily tasks. A reliable and hardworking attitude with willingness to learn quickly is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse operations.
• Experience working at height is required due to role.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Experience with forklifts desirable.
• Enthusiastic and hardworking demeanor.
• Willing to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Receive goods and materials.
• Process goods inwards and issues in line with MRP and documentation.
• Pick Work Orders and Sales Orders according to picking lists.
• Pack and label stock for courier collections; ensure stock is safe and traceable.
• Perform loading, unloading, sorting and other stores activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of stores area and yard; report stock discrepancies.
