Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a Stores Operative for our Fareham introduction site. You will receive and process incoming stock, pick and pack orders, and organise stock in the stores area in line with MRP schedules.

You will ensure accurate labeling, safe handling, and proper stock rotation while maintaining a tidy yard and supporting waste processes. Relevant forklift experience is desirable and a proactive, hardworking attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous Warehouse or Stores experience desired.
• Previous experience of working at height is required due to nature of this role.
• Previous Experience with ERP Systems.
• Experience with forklifts desirable.
• Enthusiastic and hardworking.
• Willing to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Process goods inwards and receipts according to the MRP schedule.
• Locate stock into correct locations and apply stock rotation.
• Label and pack stock to avoid contamination or damage.
• Pick work orders and sales orders with high accuracy.
• Assist with loading, unloading, sorting and stock movements.
• Maintain a clean, safe yard and COSHH storage areas.
• Support waste processing and respond to hatch enquiries urgently.
• Ensure stock accuracy and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Keep stores equipment and vehicles maintained and report faults.
