Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a Stores Operative for our Fareham site to receive and process stock, pick orders, pack, and prepare for courier collections in line with the MRP schedule. You will maintain stock accuracy and store organisation to ensure efficient operations across the stores area.

Experience with ERP systems is preferred, as is forklift operation, and candidates should be enthusiastic and quick to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous Warehouse or Stores experience desired.
• Experience of working at height is required due to nature of this role.
• Familiarity with ERP systems for stock control and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Receive goods and materials and process them in accordance with MRP.
• Process goods receipt documentation including scanning and resolve booking in issues.
• Locate stock into correct locations and ensure safe storage with rotation.
• Pick work orders and sales orders according to picking lists with high accuracy.
• Pack, label and prepare stock for courier collections; ensure no contamination.
• Maintain stock accuracy and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Follow manual handling guidelines and use lifting equipment as required.
• Keep yard clean and stock organized; manage COSHH cabinet and oil store.
• Assist with waste processing and respond to hatch enquires with urgency.
