Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a Stores Operative to manage goods inwards, storage, and order picking within the Fareham introduction site. You will load, unload, label, and pack stock while maintaining high levels of accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities include processing of goods, organising stock locations, and supporting waste management and KPI reporting, under the supervision of the Materials Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or stores experience is required.
• Experience working at height is required.
• Experience with ERP systems is required.
• Forklift experience is desirable.
• Enthusiastic, hardworking and quick to learn.

Responsibilities

• Process goods inwards and ensure stock is labelled and stored correctly.
• Pick work orders and sales orders with high accuracy.
• Maintain stock accuracy and rotate stock as needed.
• Follow manual handling guidelines for lifting and moving stock.
• Ensure yard is clean, safe and stock is organized by size/area.
• Prepare crates and packing materials for courier collections.
• Report stock discrepancies to supervisor and maintain equipment.
