Qualifications

About the role

Please note: We are currently waiting for confirmation of our annual salary review, and this may increase the salary for this role.

We are looking for an experienced Statutory Capital Accountant to join our Finance team based at Devizes HQ.

What you will be doing
  • Responsible for coordinating, developing, implementing and monitoring plans in relation to the production of the Statement of Accounts and Capital Accounting.
  • Responsible for the production of the Statement of Accounts for two legal entities and will require high levels of proactivity required to manage the Force’s portfolio surrounding capital matters.
  • Line management responsibility for a small team, this is a great opportunity to join a small Finance team operating in a highly supportive and dynamic organisation.
About you and your experience
  • To be a fully Qualified Accountant (CIPFA, CIMA, ACCA)
  • Have experience in the preparation of Statutory Accounts
  • To understand both capital and statutory elements of accounting practice
  • Have experience of managing and developing a team
