We are a single Trust operating across three hospital sites in Frimley, Ascot and Slough. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Medical Acute Dependency Unit (MADU) nursing team at Frimley Park Hospital on a 14-month fixed-term contract.
MADU is a fast-paced and supportive environment where staff development is actively encouraged. You will be supported by our Respiratory Specialist Practice Development Nurse and will develop your skills using a nationally recognised Skills Competency Framework.

Our MADU is a 12 bedded unit and has facilities for full cardiac monitoring and non-invasive ventilation. We provide level one and two care to patients with a variety of conditions from GI bleeds, DKA, type 1 and type 2 respiratory failure requiring non-invasive ventilation, CPAP, Oxygen Therapy, Heart failure, severe electrolyte imbalance, central lines and arterial lines monitoring, amongst others.
We are looking to appoint a dynamic individual with strong interpersonal skills and an enthusiasm for caring for acutely ill medical patients.
