Job summary
LexisNexis Risk Solutions in the UK is seeking an SRE Manager to lead the reliability function for production services, delivering stable, resilient systems and advancing AI-Ops capabilities. You will line-manage and develop team leads and engineers, own incident and problem management, and drive observability, disaster recovery, and continuous improvement.
Collaboration with Ops, product and wider tech is essential.
Qualifications
- Strong people leadership with coaching experience.
- Hands-on experience in SRE, incident and problem management.
- Ability to influence across Ops, engineering and product teams.
- Delivery discipline to focus on high-value initiatives.
- Experience using metrics and SLAs to drive reliability.
- Experience identifying automation opportunities and AI-Ops.
- Clear communication of risks and trade-offs.
- Willingness to participate in on-call and major incidents.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team's strategic direction with clear plans and deliverables.
- Line-manage and develop team leaders and engineers.
- Own incident management, RCAs, post-mortems and actions.
- Strengthen operational process adherence and delegation.
- Drive SRE practices across observability, automation and DR.
- Protect service levels balancing Eng, InfoSec, and maintenance work.
- Bridge Ops, tech, product and stakeholders on priorities.
- Shape the team for AI-Ops with practical automation opportunities.
