Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is hiring a hands-on Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to design, build, and operate reliable production systems. You will write Terraform, improve observability, and respond to real incidents, with hybrid or fully remote options.

The role requires 5+ years in SRE/DevOps, strong AWS experience, Terraform expertise, and ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment. Competitive benefits and a focus on automation are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on SRE/DevOps/Infra Eng experience.
• Strong production AWS experience.
• Significant hands-on Terraform experience in real-world environments.
• Experience with monitoring/uptime platforms (Grafana, Pingdom, Uptrends).
• Linux, networking, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with on-call incident response and rotations.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with ITSM and incident workflows (ServiceNow).
• Strong written communication and documentation in Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate highly available, scalable systems in AWS.
• Write and maintain Terraform to provision infrastructure.
• Own and improve monitoring, alerting, and observability.
• Participate in rotating on-call, incidents, and post-incident reviews.
• Lead incident response and root-cause analysis for prevention and automation.
• Define and manage SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and workflows using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Collaborate with application teams to improve reliability and deployability.
• Automate manual operational tasks and maintain runbooks in Confluence.
• Track work and incidents using Jira and ServiceNow.
• Mentor engineers and help set SRE standards.
