Job summary

Elite Youth Sports Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic Sports Coach to deliver engaging PE lessons across Oxfordshire and Berkshire.

You’ll work with children aged 4-16 in mainstream schools, plan inclusive sessions, and support students with additional needs. The role also covers holiday camps with camp management or leadership, offering a meaningful coaching career in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience delivering sports coaching or PE.
• Level 2 Sports Coaching qualification (NGB or equivalent) or a sports coaching degree.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
• Confident managing groups of children with energy and enthusiasm.
• Strong safeguarding and child protection understanding.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK; living in Oxfordshire or Berkshire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality PE lessons to children aged 4-16 in primary schools.
• Plan and deliver inclusive lessons meeting National Curriculum objectives.
• Adapt activities so every child can participate and succeed.
• Build strong, professional relationships with schools, staff, parents and pupils.

About the Role No two days are the same at Elite Youth Sports. During term time, you'll work across a range of mainstream schools, delivering engaging PE lessons and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. You'll create positive learning environments where every child can participate, develop confidence and enjoy being active. During the school holidays, you'll become part of our multi activity Elite Camps, working as either an Camp Manager or Camp Leader to provide fun, safe and inclusive holiday experiences. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your coaching career whilst making a meaningful impact every day.

Deliver high-quality PE lessons to children aged 4-16 in primary schools

Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that meet National Curriculum objectives.

Assist with holiday camp preparation and operational planning

• Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding, professionalism and child welfare.
• Minimum 1 year's experience delivering sports coaching or PE.
• A minimum Level 2 Sports Coaching qualification (NGB or equivalent) or sports coaching degree
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Confident managing groups of children with enthusiasm and energy.
• Passionate about inclusion and helping children achieve their potential.
• Flexible, proactive and willing to support all areas of the business.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK and currently living within Oxfordshire or Berkshire.

Desirable

• Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Current Safeguarding Certificate (training can be provided).
