Elite Youth Sports Ltd is seeking energetic Holiday Camp Coaches to deliver engaging, multi-activity sessions for children during school holidays in Oxfordshire/Berkshire. You will lead a variety of recreational sports, games, and team-building activities while ensuring every child feels included and motivated to participate.

The role offers a safeguarding-focused, supportive environment with clear camp policies and opportunities for ongoing training.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience working with children in a similar environment.
• Confident leading group activities and sports sessions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child safety.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a daily schedule of Sports, Elite Activities and arts and crafts.
• Adapt activities to suit different age groups and abilities.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
• Foster a positive, encouraging and energetic camp atmosphere.
• Support behaviour management in line with camp policies.
• Work collaboratively with peers and camp leadership.
• Assist with daily set up, pack down and general camp duties.

Job description

We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic Holiday Camp Coaches to deliver engaging, multi-activity sessions for children during school holidays. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire young people, promote physical activity, and create memorable camp experiences in a safe and supportive environment. As an Activity Coach, you will lead a variety of recreational sports, games, and team-building activities, ensuring every child feels included, confident, and motivated to participate. Elite Activities we offer include Nerf Wars, Laser Tag, Parachute Games, Bubble Football, Inflatable Fun, Orienteering, Glow in the dark Dodgeball, Crazy Golf and Soft Archery.

• Plan and deliver a daily schedule of Sports, Elite Activities and arts and crafts
• Adapt activities to suit difference age groups and abilities
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
• Foster a positive, encouraging and energetic camp atmosphere
• Support behaviour management in line with camp policies

• At least 1 Years experience working with children in a similar environment / childcare, school or coaching capacity.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

• A full driving licence and own transport
• Level 2 NGB Sports Coaching or BTEC or A Level Sport or childcare qualifications
• An up-to-date Enhanced DBS certificate on the DBS update service (can be applied for)
• Safeguarding Certificate (training can be given)
