Job summary

Teach Plus is helping a welcoming primary school in Ealing to recruit a part-time Sports Coach starting ASAP. The role involves delivering engaging PE lessons across the school and running after-school sport clubs to inspire pupils' physical confidence and teamwork.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Sports Coach in a primary setting, hold an Enhanced DBS with Update Service, and have the right to work in the UK. Hours are 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sports Coach within a primary school or in a similar role.
• Strong subject/curriculum knowledge relevant to the role.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
• Right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons to pupils across the primary school
• Plan and adapt sports activities to meet the needs and abilities of individual pupils and groups
• Lead a variety of after-school sports clubs and extracurricular activities
• Encourage pupils to develop physical skills, teamwork, confidence and a positive attitude towards sport
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, participation and safety during PE sessions and sports activities
• Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to support the wider PE and enrichment curriculum

About the role and school

Teach Plus are currently working with a welcoming primary school in Ealing who are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Sports Coach to join their team from ASAP. This Sports Coach role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced PE professional to deliver engaging PE lessons across the school and run a range of after-school sports clubs. The successful Sports Coach will inspire pupils to develop their physical skills, confidence, teamwork and enjoyment of sport within a supportive primary school environment.
