Job summary

Premier Education UK is looking for an Activity Professional to deliver curriculum PE, school clubs, and holiday activity across term-time and holidays. You’ll engage children, manage sessions, and support a vibrant activity program throughout the year.

With a 52-week contract, you’ll stay busy in term-time and holiday club delivery, backed by a supportive line manager, safeguarding checks, and flexible development opportunities. A passion for sport and youth wellbeing is essential.

Qualifications

• Confidence delivering PE and physical activity sessions to children
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A Level 2 certificate (relevant sport, coaching, or activity-based qualification)
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check

£11.00 per hour (under 21) / £12.75 per hour (21 and over)

52-week contract — term-time school delivery plus holiday club and HAF camp delivery during school holidays. Start date: 1st October, with the possibility of starting earlier for the right person.

As an Activity Professional with Premier Education, you're the one who turns curriculum PE, extra-curricular clubs, and holiday activity into the bit a child genuinely looks forward to.

This is a proper 52-week role, not a term-time patch job. When the bell rings for the last day of term, you're not out of work, you're straight into holiday club and HAF camp delivery, so the variety and the pay both keep going all year round.

A Day in the Life

Term-time (08:30–16:30): You're in at 08:30, kit set up, equipment checked, and a few minutes to build the relationships that make everything easier once the whistle blows. Lessons run from around 09:00 to 12:00, taking different classes through curriculum PE. Lunchtime is a structured club, fast-paced, fun, and the highlight of the day for plenty of kids. Afternoon lessons run 13:00–15:30, then you close out with after-school club from 15:30–16:30.

School holidays: the classrooms are empty but the energy doesn't stop. You're delivering full-day holiday club and HAF camp sessions, sport, games, and enrichment, across a wider age range and a different pace. No two days are the same, and that's exactly how you like it.

What We're Looking For

We hire on genuine passion for sport and children first, qualifications and detail second, we'll help you build the rest.

• Confidence delivering PE and physical activity sessions to children of primary or secondary age
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A genuine passion for inspiring children through sport and activity
• A Level 2 certificate (relevant sport, coaching, or activity-based qualification)
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check

Even Better If You Have

• A relevant sports coaching or PE qualification beyond Level 2
• Paediatric First Aid certification (training can be provided)

Where Could This Take You?

Activity Professionals can progress into Quality Improvement roles, take on leadership of holiday club delivery, move into Venue Lead positions within wraparound care, or progress into central Operations or Curriculum Development roles as they build experience across school and holiday delivery.
