Are you passionate about sports and physical activity? Do you thrive on motivating others and bringing energy into every interaction? Monarch Education is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Sports Coach to support pupils in a specialist ASD school in Birmingham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to use their love of sport to positively impact the lives of children with autism. You’ll be working in a nurturing, structured environment where movement, routine, and engagement are key to learning. You will be supporting students on a 1:1 basis.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in both classroom and physical activity settings
  • Leading or assisting in outdoor games, and sensory movement sessions as well as supporting with main lessons
  • Encouraging participation, building confidence, and helping regulate emotions through sport
  • Working closely with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored support plans
What We’re Looking For:
  • A background in sports coaching, fitness, or physical education
  • Experience working with children or young people (school, camp, club, etc.)
  • A calm, patient, and energetic personality
  • A genuine interest in SEN (Special Educational Needs), especially ASD
  • DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
