Job summary

Knauf Ceiling Solutions is seeking a Specification Manager - Ireland to drive specification sales by building strong relationships with architects, specifiers, consultants and other decision-makers in the construction industry.

You will identify early-stage projects, provide technical guidance on Knauf ceilings and drywall systems, deliver CPD trainings, and help convert specifications into orders while tracking activity through CRM systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in specification sales, preferably in construction or building materials.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Strong network within architecture, design and construction sectors.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for influencing decision-makers.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, able to work independently.
• Proficiency with CRM tools and project tracking software.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and target key projects and stakeholders to ensure Knauf products are specified early.
• Work with architects, designers, consultants and specifiers to provide technical advice and tailored solutions.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with influencers in construction and design sectors.
• Act as the primary contact for specifiers, delivering excellent customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop deep knowledge of Knauf products, specifications and compliance with industry standards.
• Deliver technical presentations and CPD seminars to specifiers and design teams.
• Monitor market trends, competitors and opportunities in the specification market.
• Provide feedback to product development and marketing to align offerings with market needs.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and technical teams to move from specification to project execution.
• Assist the sales team in converting specifications into orders with project insights and support.
• Track specification activities, project pipelines and conversion rates using CRM and related systems.
