Job summary

Knauf Ceiling Solutions is seeking a Specification Manager - Ireland to drive specification sales with architects, specifiers and consultants. You will promote Knauf ceilings, drywall systems and related solutions at design and planning stages, converting specifications into long-term business.

You will work with a global team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, delivering technical advice, CPD seminars and product recommendations throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in specification sales for construction/building materials.
• Technical knowledge to interpret architectural drawings and specs.
• Strong network in architecture, design, construction sectors.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence decision-makers.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Identify key projects and stakeholders to secure early specification.
• Provide technical advice and tailored solutions to architects and specifiers.
• Build long-term relationships with influencers in construction and design.
• Act as main contact for specifiers with excellent customer service throughout projects.
• Develop understanding of Knauf product range and compliance with standards.
• Deliver CPD sessions and technical presentations to design teams.
• Monitor market trends and opportunities in the specification market.
• Provide feedback to product development and marketing to align offerings.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and technical teams to convert specs to orders.
• Track specification activities and project pipelines using CRM systems.
