We are seeking middle grade doctors with at least 2 years ED experience to fill Specialty Doctor posts full or part time across both Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells sites.

Highlights include:

Duties of the posts include:

• To liaise between nurses, other clinicians, patients, relatives in order to support safe care
• Attend and participate in board rounds, ward rounds and other related daily unit activities
• Provide appropriate workplace supervision to other staff as and when needed as requested
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, especially in relation to documentation
• Participate in the Emergency rota.
• Discharge notifications and follow up clinic letters as directed.

The Trust provides acute hospital services to a population of around 760,000 in West Kent and North East Sussex, and some specialist services to a considerably larger population. Its major hospitals are the Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury, and the Maidstone Hospital. The Clinical Director for Emergency Medicine is Dr Christy Lowe.
