Sedgwick is seeking a Specialty Credit Control Team Leader in Leeds to guide a seven-person Credit Control team, ensuring timely collection of premiums and fees across the London Market. The role includes managing debt positions, cash allocation, and stakeholder engagement with brokers, clients and underwriters.

Based in Leeds with hybrid working and travel to other offices, you will drive process improvements, support automation initiatives, and align with FCA/Lloyd's governance standards to

Qualifications

• Team leadership experience delivering performance and service standards.
• Credit control, collections and debt management in insurance, with London Market knowledge.
• Experience using Electronic Claims File (ECF) systems and Lloyd's market practices.
• Stakeholder management with brokers, clients, underwriters and senior leaders.
• Regulatory compliance awareness focused on FCA, Lloyd's and governance.
• Ability to identify process improvements and drive efficiency.
• Aviation insurance knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a seven-strong Credit Controllers team handling premium/fee collections.
• Oversee outstanding debt and ensure timely settlement and accurate cash allocation.
• Maintain relationships with brokers, underwriters, clients and internal stakeholders.
• Manage submissions via the Electronic Claims File (ECF) platform per Lloyd's market rules.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and support automation initiatives.
