Job summary

Sedgwick in Leeds is seeking a Specialty Credit Control Team Leader to oversee a seven-person team responsible for premium and fee collection across the London Market. The role combines leadership with hands-on credit control duties in a hybrid office-based environment.

You will manage debt positions, deliver meaningful management information, support resolution of account queries, and drive process improvements and automation initiatives to sustain high collection performance and regulatory

Qualifications

• Team leadership experience delivering strong performance and service standards.
• Strong credit control, collections and debt management experience in insurance with London Market knowledge.
• Experience using ECF systems and Lloyd’s market practices.
• Ability to engage brokers, clients, underwriters and senior leaders.
• Understanding of FCA, Lloyd’s and internal regulatory requirements.
• Experience identifying process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Aviation Insurance knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a seven-person Credit Controllers team to achieve targets.
• Oversee premium and fee submissions and debt collection.
• Monitor debt positions and provide meaningful management information.
• Resolve complex account queries in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements and automation to boost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and Lloyd’s market requirements.
