Job summary

AEGIS London is seeking a Senior Credit Controller to manage a large Delegated Authority portfolio within a high-performing Credit Control team. The role offers operational autonomy and collaboration with underwriting, the Lloyd’s Broker and Coverholder community.

You will use dashboard analytics to monitor premium variances, ensure timely signings and settlements, and work with internal teams to resolve problem accounts.

Qualifications

• Previously worked within Lloyd’s market and have working level understanding of premium settlement cycle regarding processing of Delegated Authority business.
• Familiarity with Lloyd’s binding authority format and key terms and conditions from premium credit control perspective.
• Familiarity with Insurers’ Market Repository (IMR) and maintenance of policy documentation and related settlement details therein.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel regarding application of IF statements, Lookups and use of Pivot Tables.
• Proficient use of dashboard analytics (Power BI) in daily monitoring of status of portfolio.
• Able to work individually and as part of a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Use the dashboard analytics in ongoing review of premium variances for the Delegated Authority portfolio.
• Ensure timely processing of FDO signings for Tier 1 accounts.
• Ensure timely receipt of paid premium bordereaux for Tier 1 accounts.
• Reconcile written and paid premiums to identify outstanding balances for Tier 1 accounts.
• Maintain regular dialogue with Lloyd’s brokers to secure timely settlements.
• Schedule in-person meetings with Lloyd’s brokers who miss terms of trade on settlements.
• Engage with underwriting teams on problem accounts and remedial action plans.
• Review underlying policy documentation as required.
• Assist Head of Technical Reporting in assessing reporting requirements for Delegated Authority Credit Control.
• Assist Head of Technical Reporting in evaluating Copilot application within Delegated Authority Credit Control.
