Qualifications

• 7-8 years' credit control experience, including managing major customer accounts.
• Experience leading a team is desirable but not essential.
• Proactive approach with ownership of credit control function.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 7 Credit Controllers
• Set monthly collection targets and support the team to achieve them
• Manage a high value debt ledger
• Drive continuous improvement across credit control processes and systems
• Complete credit checks for new customers and create ERP accounts
• Proactively collect outstanding debt via telephone and email
• Issue customer statements and resolve complex account queries
• Maintain accurate records within the credit control system
• Post and allocate daily cash receipts accuratelyCarry out account reconciliations
• Produce weekly and monthly debt updates for the CFO
