Job summary

Eversheds Sutherland is seeking a Credit Controller to join a busy Credit Control team in Leeds. You will own a ledger within a practice group, ensuring timely invoice settlement and proactive cash collection across high-value client portfolios.

You will liaise with external clients, Partners and legal teams, resolving queries, driving process improvements, and meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Credit Control role.
• Experience handling high-value and high-volume client accounts.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience working with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience meeting deadlines and working to service levels.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a ledger within one of our practice groups and manage client accounts.
• Ensure invoices are settled in a timely and professional manner.
• Liaise with external clients, Partners and legal teams on queries.
• Identify and elevate risks and issues and support process improvements.
