Job description

Overview

We are looking for a fixed term Hospice Specialty Doctor of FY3 level or above to support the medical team on the In-Patient Unit, providing palliative care to patients.

Responsibilities

• The prime purpose of this role is to provide holistic patient-focused care and to work as an integrated member of the multi-disciplinary team.
• You will be supported in your decision making by the Palliative Care Consultants, Specialty training registrar doctors and multi-disciplinary team.
• You will be part of a supportive and dynamic medical team which consists of 4 Consultants in Palliative Medicine, alongside trainees in Palliative medicine, Internal Medicine, General Practice and Foundation Year 2.
