Job description

We welcome applications for a full time Specialist Investigator opportunity with Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE) Investigations. This is an exciting opportunity where you will co-ordinate and support major/ sensitive investigations, gathering evidence and intelligence in support of investigative strategy.

The successful candidate will develop maintain effective working relationships with collaborative forces and other partner agencies across the South East region.

Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate will have some experience as an effective Investigator and have excellent communication/interpersonal skills.

This post requires occasional travel across the South East region and the UK.

This role requires applicants to have PIP2 accreditation.

You will be asked to demonstrate flexibility regarding working hours in line with operational demand and occasionally this may require working away from home. For this reason a full UK Driving Licence is essential to the role. You will also required to perform on-call arrangements for urgent response as required across the South East region.

Due to the nature of our work, security is of paramount importance to us and therefore it will be necessary to pass and maintain vetting level SC together with a number of enhanced security checks. In order to achieve this, you must be a British National and have resided in the UK for the past five years.

Exemptions may apply for overseas or other diplomatic service (with HM Government), and studying abroad.
