A leading healthcare provider in Berkshire seeks a dedicated Band 6 paediatric dietitian to join their community dietetic service. The successful candidate will manage a varied community caseload, providing essential dietetic support for issues such as fussy eating and gastro problems. The role offers development opportunities, including line managing junior staff and engaging in research projects. The Paediatric Community Dietetic Service based in Tilehurst, Reading- has an opportunity to offer a permanent full time paediatric Band 6 role.
The post holder will be covering a varied community caseload, including clinics across Berkshire seeing patients for fussy eating/ CMPA/ Gastro issues/ faltering growth along with other dietetic concerns. There are also opportunities to develop experience and skills in other areas of community dietetics as well as line managing and mentoring junior staff.
We are a mobile working service and offer our patients the choice of face‑to‑face, virtual and phone appointments as well as home visits. To support this, we have excellent IT access and support staff home‑working where appropriate.
As a team we strongly value continuing professional development and offer an employee‑led appraisal process and personal development plan. We will support you to develop your ideas for research and audit and offer collaboration and training with our Research & Development and Clinical Effectiveness teams. We also engage in student training and facilitate teaching opportunities.

We are looking for enthusiastic, skilled and committed dietitians to join this forward‑thinking team.
Working under the guidance of theClinicalLead Dietitian, to provide dietetic care to a varied and diverse caseload of patients in the community and community inpatients.
Providing specialist dietetic treatments e.g.CMPA and fussy eating advice
Delivering a proportion ofsomecare using online platforms e.g. One Consultation and MS Teams
Coaching, delegating workto,and supporting Dietetic Assistant Practitioners (DAPs) and involvement in student training programme.
Involvement in departmental research activityandquality improvement project work
