Special Educational Needs (SEN) Secondary Teacher

Ilford (Redbridge) • Full-Time • January 2026 start

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our vibrant Secondary SEN school based in Ilford. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students, providing tailored support to meet their individual learning needs. This is a rewarding role for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of pupils with special educational needs.

  • 2 terms until end of the academic year July 2026 (potential to extend to a permanent role)
  • Full time, Monday to Friday
  • Pay: match to teacher payscale within daily rate
  • 8:15am - 4pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • QTS or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year SEN teaching experience in the UK
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
