Job summary

Open Cosmos Ltd. is seeking an embedded software engineer to design, implement and validate satellite flight software.

You will work across Linux and RTOS environments, participate in code reviews and CI/CD, and collaborate with Systems, Electronics and Mission Operations to ensure robust, traceable software throughout the lifecycle. You should be proficient in Rust or C/C++, familiar with ECSS standards, and capable of contributing to post-launch operations while driving architectural

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Rust or C/C++, with ability to transition to Rust.
• Experience in Linux development environments and scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tooling.
• Knowledge of embedded space software concepts and RTOS.
• Familiarity with ECSS standards and documentation.
• Understanding of software verification and validation processes.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, validating, and maintaining satellite flight software.
• Supporting ground tools, ensuring robustness and traceability.
