Job summary

Open Cosmos Ltd. is seeking a software engineer to design, implement and validate satellite flight software. You will support ground tools and develop features for Linux and RTOS-based systems in collaboration with Systems, Electronics and Mission Operations teams.

You will participate in CI/CD, code reviews and testing campaigns, while ensuring traceability and robust software practices across the mission lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to design and implement satellite flight software.
• Experience with Linux development environments and embedded systems.
• Familiarity with ECSS or space engineering standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, validating, and maintaining satellite flight software
• Supporting ground tools, ensuring software is robust, traceable, and fit for space missions
• Developing features for Linux and RTOS-based systems per requirements
• Participating in code reviews, testing campaigns, and CI/CD processes
• Maintaining configuration control, documentation, and full software traceability
• Collaborating with Systems, Electronics, and Mission Operations teams
• Contributing to post-launch operations and build/integration activities
• Driving continuous improvement in architecture and engineering processes
