Job summary

Open Cosmos Ltd. is seeking a software engineer to design, implement, and validate satellite flight software, with emphasis on Rust or C/C++ and Linux/RTOS environments. You will contribute to ground tools, CI/CD pipelines, and software traceability, collaborating across Systems, Electronics, and Mission Operations teams.

The role supports post-launch operations and aims to continuously improve architecture and engineering processes, ensuring reliable, scalable space software delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience with Rust or strong C/C++ with willingness to transition to Rust.
• Knowledge of Linux development, scripting, and command-line tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation tooling such as GitLab/Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, validating, and maintaining satellite flight software
• Supporting ground tools, ensuring robustness and traceability
• Developing features for Linux and RTOS-based systems
