Job summary

Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel & Spa is seeking a 100% authentic and driven Spa Receptionist on a 12-month fixed term contract to deliver heartfelt human connections to guests in our Spa. The role covers guest welcome, booking management, and product promotion, with shifts across a 24-hour weekly schedule.

You will join a team focused on sophisticated guest experiences, wellness, and sustainability, working within the Kimpton family to create memorable moments.

Qualifications

• Availability to work 24 hours per week across a variety of shifts.
• Previous experience as a Spa Receptionist within a destination Spa or Hotel Spa is desirable, or general Hospitality experience.
• Interest in Spa and Wellness area and passion for it.
• Previous experience using diary-based systems is desirable.
• High levels of communication with guests and other departments daily.
• Drive to produce results and deliver extremely personal experiences and human connection.
• A warm, authentic personality with a can-do attitude and commitment to service.
• Willingness to work within our team to embrace our service and delight our guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and welcome them to the Spa in a 5-star manner, educate guests on offerings and discuss options.
• Manage bookings, take bookings in person or by phone, and guide guests through the Spa journey.
• Promote and upsell treatments and a wide range of products based on guest interactions.
