Job summary

Pho in Newcastle is seeking a Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen. You will support the Head Chef, mentor junior cooks and help manage multiple kitchen sections with a hands-on approach and a passion for fresh, flavoursome dishes.

The role emphasizes strong food-safety knowledge and the ability to lead a team in a busy restaurant environment, while contributing to our high standards and training during the initial weeks and beyond.

Qualifications

• Hands-on chefs who are passionate about cooking fresh, vibrant and flavoursome food.
• Second Chef or Sous Chef with minimum 1 year in the role.
• Experience being second in command in a kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and managing compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• SupportHead Chef and mentor wok, line and salad chefs.
• Be hands-on across kitchen sections and lead by example.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
• Assist with managerial duties and team coordination.

We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our busy Pho restaurant in Newcastle.. . Our kitchen has a wonderful team of chefs who work very hard and are great at what they do, so it's important we find the right Second Chef who is going to be supportive, friendly and hands-on, always ready to help in the different sections of the kitchen.. . ++Annual alary offer of up to £40,200++ ++is made up of a base annual salary £34,700 plus earnings received through tronc.++. Who and what is Pho?. . We are named after Vietnams famous noodle soup- PHỞ. A rich bowl of broth, rice noodle and plenty of meat (or veggies)! But we also have more amazing things to offer in our menu.... . Here are some examples of some of the many fresh dishes we cook and serve everyday:.
