Pho Newcastle is seeking a sous chef to join our busy kitchen in Newcastle. You will support the Head Chef and mentor wok, line and salad chefs, ensuring fresh, vibrant dishes across the menu with hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• Hands-on chefs who are passionate about cooking fresh, vibrant and flavoursome food.
• Experience as Second/Sous Chef with leadership duties.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef with day-to-day kitchen management.
• Mentor wok chefs, lines chefs and salad chefs to maintain quality.
• Support in menu execution and maintaining high standards.

We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our busy Pho restaurant in Newcastle.

Our kitchen has a wonderful team of chefs who work very hard and are great at what they do, so it’s important we find the right Second Chef who is going to be supportive, friendly and hands-on, always ready to help in the different sections of the kitchen.

Annual alary offer of up to£40,200is made up of a base annual salary £34,700 plus earnings received through tronc.

What Pho is looking for:

• Hands on chefs who are passionate about cooking fresh, vibrant and flavoursome food.
• Second Chef or Sous Chef with minimum x1 years’ in role.
• Experience being second in command in a kitchen. Assisting both the Head Chef with managerial duties and being a mentor to our wok chefs, lines chefs and salad chefs.
