Job summary

Warner Hotels is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our culinary team and help create exceptional dining experiences for guests. You will oversee daily kitchen operations, train junior chefs, and ensure food safety and cost controls are in place.

You will support the Head Chef, develop a collaborative team, and respond to guest feedback to maintain high satisfaction. The role offers opportunities for career development through training and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Understand branded menu operations.
• Experience managing orders, stocks and forecast against occupancy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
• Good financial knowledge to manage costs within the department budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations and ensure stations are prepared for service.
• Supervise and train junior chefs, promoting a collaborative environment.
• Ensure food safety standards are consistently met in storage, handling and cooking techniques.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage food costs to meet targets.
• Support the Head Chef and foster a culture of teamwork and guest satisfaction.
