Job summary

Warner Hotels is seeking a talented Sous Chef at Thoresby Hall to join the culinary team. You will oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, supervise junior chefs, and ensure top quality dining experiences for guests.

With a strong focus on food safety, cost control, and maintaining a branded menu, you will contribute to a high-standard guest experience and work closely with the Head Chef to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in branded hotel/restaurant environments.
• Ability to supervise and train junior chefs.
• Strong understanding of food safety and HACCP principles.
• Experience managing food costs and inventories.
• Ability to work under pressure and lead a kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations and station readiness.
• Supervise and train junior chefs; promote teamwork.
• Maintain food safety standards in storage, handling and cooking.
• Monitor inventory and manage costs to meet targets.
• Support Head Chef and respond to guest feedback to ensure satisfaction.
