Job summary

Loungers plc, Albero Lounge in Cranfield, seeks a full-time Sous Chef to join the kitchen team. You’ll lead kitchen shifts, support the Head Chef, and ensure every dish leaving the pass meets high standards.

You will be part of a growing hospitality brand offering development, overtime benefits, bonuses and staff perks. Previous Sous Chef or Chef de Partie experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef considered
• Passion for fresh ingredients and high standards
• Ability to lead by example and train junior staff

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts with confidence from prep to final plate
• Support Head Chef and step up during absence
• Maintain high standards of food quality, pace, hygiene and safety
• Manage prep, par, stock, waste, orders and shift handovers
• Coach and develop chefs to deliver great food every shift
