Loungers plc is hiring a full-time Sous Chef for Tretho Lounge, a local café bar. You'll support the Head Chef, lead the kitchen team through service, and ensure every dish meets our high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy kitchen and a track record of delivering high-quality dishes.
• Experience as Sous Chef or Chef de Partie aiming to progress to Head Chef level.
• Strong eye for food quality, hygiene, and service pace.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts with confidence, ensuring service runs smoothly from prep to final plate.
• Support the Head Chef day-to-day, stepping in when needed and driving consistent results.
• Set high standards on the pass for quality, pace, cleanliness, hygiene and safety.
• Own key routines including prep, stock control, waste, orders and shift handovers.
• Mentor and develop junior chefs to build confidence and skills.
