Loungers plc is hiring a full-time Sous Chef to join the Alno Lounge kitchen team. You’ll support the Head Chef, lead shifts, and ensure every dish leaving the pass is something to be proud of. If you love real cooking and helping the team shine, you’ll fit right in.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef, or a talented Chef de Partie ready to take their next step.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts with confidence, keeping service smooth and on spec from prep through to the final plate.
• Be the Head Chef’s right hand—support day-to-day operations and step up in their absence.
• Set the tone for high standards on the pass, focusing on food quality, pace, cleanliness and safety.
• Own key kitchen routines including prep, stock control, waste, orders and handovers.
• Coach and support the team, helping chefs build confidence and deliver great food each shift.
