Loungers plc is hiring a full-time Sous Chef for Canotto Lounge, our brand-new kitchen team at a local café bar. You’ll lead shifts, support the Head Chef and ensure every dish leaving the pass is cooked to our high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent with leadership responsibilities.
• Proven reliability and punctuality in a busy kitchen.
• Commitment to high standards of food quality, cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts with confidence from prep to final plate.
• Support Head Chef and manage day-to-day operations in their absence.
• Maintain high standards on the pass, including food quality, pace, hygiene and safety.
• Oversee prep, par, stock control, waste, orders and shift handovers.
• Coach and develop the team to improve skills and service.
