Job summary

wagamama ltd is seeking a Sous Chef to lead busy shifts in a high-energy kitchen in the United Kingdom. You will work closely with management to ensure every dish is prepared fresh, on time, and to Wagamama standards, while supporting and developing the kitchen team.

You will manage line responsibilities, plan shifts for proper coverage, maintain health and safety, monitor gross profit and stock, and coach staff to reach their potential, embracing a kaizen mindset to continually improve

Qualifications

• Experience leading a busy kitchen and managing rota/shifts.
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen shifts and support the kitchen team.
• Collaborate with management to run a high-performing kitchen.
• Ensure dishes are prepared to Wagamama standards with consistency.
• Develop and coach junior staff to improve performance.
