Job summary

Prezzo Ltd in East Grinstead is seeking a high-energy Sous Chef to partner with the Head Chef, set the pace during busy services, and uphold elite standards with pride and precision.

You will coach junior chefs, manage HACCP paperwork, stock control, waste reduction and food safety compliance, and bring a passionate Italian food culture to the team.

Qualifications

• Proven Leadership: Solid experience in a similar Sous Chef role within a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
• Operational Edge: You know your way around stock control, waste reduction, and food safety compliance.
• High Energy: A "can-do" attitude that motivates the team when the tickets are flying.
• Passion & Personality: A love for great Italian food and a commitment to a fun, respectful team culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen operations in collaboration with the Head Chef.
• Coach and develop junior chefs to improve service delivery.
• Ensure HACCP paperwork is correct and HACCP standards are maintained.
• Maintain energy and quality during peak service and busy tickets.
