Job summary

Prezzo Italian in East Grinstead is seeking a high-energy Sous Chef to lead a busy kitchen team during service. You will partner with the Head Chef to set the pace, maintain elite standards, and drive a culture of Hospitality Magic.

You will coach junior chefs, manage stock and waste, and ensure all HACCP paperwork is meticulous. An upbeat, fun atmosphere and strong Italian food passion are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
• Knowledge of HACCP paperwork and food safety compliance.
• Ability to coach and motivate a kitchen team during busy services.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen operations in partnership with Head Chef to maintain high standards.
• Set pace during service and ensure every plate is sent with pride and precision.
• HACCP paperwork and compliance are maintained at all times.
• Coach and develop junior chefs to build a strong, energetic team.
