Prezzo Italian in Crawley is seeking a high-energy Sous Chef to join a fast-paced kitchen and lead the team during busy services.

You will work with the Head Chef to maintain elite standards, oversee stock, waste, and food safety, and mentor junior chefs to deliver Italian dishes with pride.

• Proven Leadership: Solid experience in a similar Sous Chef role within a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
• Operational Edge: stock control, waste reduction, and food safety compliance.
• High Energy: a can-do attitude that motivates the team during busy service.

Responsibilities

• You are the heartbeat of the kitchen operations and will partner with the Head Chef to set the pace, maintain elite standards, and keep energy high.
• Master HACCP paperwork and coach the next generation of chefs to ensure every plate is sent with pride and precision.
