Job summary

Prezzo Italian is seeking a dynamic Sous Chef to lead our kitchen heartbeat in a fast-paced environment. You will partner with the Head Chef to set the pace, maintain elite standards, and keep energy high during busy services.

You will coach the next generation of chefs, supervise HACCP paperwork, and ensure every dish is sent with pride and precision. A passion for Italian food and a fun, respectful team culture is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen team in partnership with the Head Chef to set the pace and maintain elite standards.
• Coach and develop junior chefs, ensuring every plate is sent with pride and precision.
• Oversee HACCP paperwork and daily food safety compliance.
• Manage stock, waste and portion control to maximise profitability.
• Drive a positive, energetic service environment even under pressure.
