Job summary

The Rising Sun, Bashley is seeking a proactive Sous Chef to support the Head Chef and lead the kitchen in their absence. You will craft dishes using seasonal, local ingredients and oversee daily prep and service.

Qualifications

• Hygiene qualification and strong knowledge of food safety.
• Experience cooking fresh food from seasonal ingredients.
• Ability to lead kitchen operations in absence of Head Chef.

Responsibilities

• Take full control of the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
• Prepare fresh meals using seasonal, local ingredients.
• Inspire the kitchen team and ensure each service is successful.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety.
