Job summary

The Fox & Pelican in Hindhead is looking for a proactive Sous Chef to support the Head Chef and manage the kitchen in their absence. You will craft dishes using seasonal, local ingredients and lead the kitchen team to deliver great service.

We value creativity, consistency, and strong hygiene standards. Join our pub with a busy bar trade, live sport, and a lively dining atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Hygiene qualification required.
• Excellent knowledge of food and safety.
• Seasonal, local ingredients experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deputise for Head Chef and run kitchen in their absence.
• Prepare fresh food from seasonal, local ingredients.
• Bring new ideas and create fresh dishes.
